Everyone is welcome. Wednesdays in the Sanctuary at 6:30pm
What to Expect
You will be welcomed at the front entrance by a volunteer, who will give you a handout that includes weekly announcements and an outline of the sermon. Hearing devices are available, simply ask one of the volunteers for a "Sound Mate." Our services start on time at 10:30 a.m. and usually begin with worship music. We blend both contemporary and traditional styles of worship. All of the lyrics are displayed on screens. Many people will stand while they sing, but you are not required to stand or to sing. In fact, if you prefer to just observe or remain seated, that's fine with us. We have a Children's Message every Sunday. Children are welcome to stay for the worship service or taken to Toddler Time or Children's Church, and remain till parents pick them up. You might observe a baptism, a new member joining the church, or a person being commissioned to serve in ministry to others. We will usually take a minute to share important announcements, and we will collect an offering during the service. You are not obligated to give, and you will not be pressured to make a donation.
Every worship service includes a sermon. The message will often focus on a passage of scripture and how it relates to our lives today. Every sermon is designed to be understandable, creative, challenging, biblical, and helpful. Sermons will last between 20/30 minutes during typical worship services. The sermon often concludes with an invitation to pray or respond in a different way. During this time, we sing another song, and you might observe people coming forward to kneel and pray at the altar rail. We never pressure or manipulate people to respond in a certain way; we simply provide space for people to connect with God. A pastor or worship leader will end the service with a prayer or blessing. After the service, the pastor and volunteers are available at the front of the stage to answer questions and help you get connected.
What We Believe
We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us from our sins
We believe Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us from our sin. Every human being is created in the image of God and deserves God’s love. God desires relationship with us, but our bent towards sin has marred His image and robbed us of the True Life we can only find with God. This is why God sent His Son Jesus Christ.
All people matter
When we respond positively to God’s grace, accept Christ’s crucifixion as the end of sin’s reign over us, and receive the power of His resurrection inside of us, we embark on a new journey as a child of God. Now with the Holy Spirit, we can live the life God graciously promised us in Holy Scripture: “Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again”– John 3:3 NIVWe believe by God's grace all persons have the opportunity to accept the gift of salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
We believe the church should be culturally relevant without compromising the doctrines of the Christian faith.
Body of Christ
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and every member is important to God. We believe that every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior has Spiritual Gifts that are to be used in the building up of the Body of Christ. We believe we must fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples of all people for the transformation of the world.
